VMT can provide resolutions to ongoing workplace conflicts through basic everyday communication and training. Video and presentations are provided to show employees how to effectively communicate, approach, and respond to most ongoing conflicts.

VMT is a business that seeks to help employers limit workplace conflicts among their employees. VMT will have employees asking themselves, are you part of the problem or the solution?

I decided to develop this business when I was a full time student attending Empire State College in Upstate New York while working for a Temp Agency. One day while I was working as a CSR, I watched two co-workers engage in a argument regarding a chair. The argument escalated to what would have been a physical altercation if two other co-workers did not intervene. I watched in horror as the manager did nothing but scream for both employees to stop fighting. After this traumatic experience, I went home thinking about a way that this situation could have been handled in an effective manner to diffuse the escalation. I met with employees from different walks of life and ask them for their feedback and experiences related to workplace conflicts. All of them had some sort of negative experience related to unresolved workplace issues. Some of them left their employment for another and others retired early or just transferred to another department. In any event, the conflicts did not get resolved effectively within the organization causing the employees to exit the company. I developed a technique that word create early awareness to the conflicts and training for employers and their employees on how to minimize the conflicts so that everyone can go back to doing their work and being productive. Workplace conflicts can cause employers loss of profits and create a high rate of employees leaving the company due to unresolved conflicts. Our mission is to educate and train managers and employees on how to minimize and resolve workplace conflicts. In some companies, it is imperative that employees work together as a team in order to accomplish a task. This can be done effectively through training and by using specific techniques to resolve or manage these conflicts. The goal is to work towards a more accepting environment for all individuals regardless of culture, race, sexual orientation, or gender identity. My purpose is to create awareness and understanding to these issues in order to help everyone to work together effectively and to create a more harmonious environment.
